MODA Named Enterprise Award Winner by Eastern Technology Council
PHILADELPHIA, PA - November 21, 2008 – MODA Technology Partners (MODA) was named winner of the 2008 Startup Technology Company Enterprise Award by the Eastern Technology Council. MODA was selected from three finalists in the Greater Philadelphia Region by a distinguished panel of judges comprised of local technology and financial leaders. The award was received by MODA Chief Executive Officer David Lipson at the Enterprise Awards banquet on November 18 at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia.
The Enterprise Awards, presented by the Eastern Technology Council in partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, recognizes and honors leadership and outstanding achievement in the technology and life sciences industries throughout the region. The Startup Technology Company Award specifically recognizes these achievements for organizations that have been in business for three years or less.
“MODA is proud to have been selected for this prestigious award”, stated MODA Chief Operating Officer Michael Desiderio. “Since our launch in 2006, MODA has been on a consistent path of growth and success. We now have over a dozen clients in the pharmaceuticals sector including three of the top fifteen pharma companies in the world.” Mr. Desiderio continued, “The concepts expressed in our products are being recognized by many industry leaders as a true best-practice approach to a paperless QA/QC program. The net positive impacts to our clients and the general public are better processes to ensure product safety and efficacy.”
Mr. Desiderio concluded, “It is an exciting time for us at MODA. We want to recognize and thank our clients, our investors and our dedicated team of professionals. I am very proud of my coworkers as I look back on their tremendous accomplishments over the past three years. And we are looking forward to even greater successes for MODA in 2009 and beyond.”
