Mark E. Kolb to Join MODA Board of Directors
Wayne, Pa. & Bridgewater, N.J. - MODA Technology Partners (MODA) today announced that Mark E. Kolb, Chairman and CEO of Taratec, a consultancy focused on the automation and regulatory compliance needs of the pharmaceutical industry, is joining the MODA Board of Directors. MODA has developed MODA-EM™ a mobile computing solution for the collection, management and reporting of environmental monitoring information by pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Mr. Kolb founded Taratec in 1983. Since that time, the firm has built an outstanding reputation among the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, including 18 of the 20 largest firms. In 2006, Taratec and MODA entered into a professional services agreement that leverages Taratec’s vast computer system validation and laboratory automation expertise in the implementation MODA-EM.
In addition to serving as the chairman of Taratec’s Board of Directors, Kolb serves on the Board of Directors of the Somerset Medical Center and the New Jersey Technology Council. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Dynamic Clinical Systems and Montclair State University’s College of Science and Mathematics Advisory Council. Mr. Kolb received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and completed the Owner/President Management (OPM) program at the Harvard Business School. He is a past winner of the Ernst & Young New Jersey Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Notre Dame Club of Central New Jersey’s Man of the Year.
