Letter from the CEO

Welcome to the MODA Technology Partners’ website. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our company and our innovative suite of mobile data acquisition solutions. Everyone at MODA understands the pressures that the industry is facing to improve performance, ensure product quality and patient safety, while effectively managing operational costs. Our experienced team of professionals is committed to bringing solutions to the industry that will help you achieve these goals. Our approach is a simple one – ask the industry what it needs and then deliver high-quality, low-risk solutions that result in direct, tangible and measurable cost savings.

There have been a number of significant and exciting events at MODA in 2007 that I would like to share with you. Each event has been an important part of achieving our overall business strategy and represents an important milestone in our company’s development.

We have expanded our Board of Directors with the addition of Mark E. Kolb, Executive Vice President of Patni Life Sciences, a global, industry-leading solutions provider. Collectively, our board has over 130 years in the information technology industry.

Of great significance to the marketplace we serve is the release of a new, more powerful version of MODA-EM. This release, MODA-EM v2.3, is a direct result of our clients (and potential clients) telling us how to improve our product to better address their needs. MODA-EM v2.3 has a number of significant new features and much greater functionality than prior releases. Included in this release are new utilities to manage the physical plant topology (including floor plan and utility schematic drawings), new functionality to define and manage monitoring plans and work schedules, vastly improved sample review functionality, and a capability to analyze and visualize environmental monitoring information that is unrivaled in the industry. These new features in conjunction with enhanced system configurability will allow us to tailor MODA-EM more easily to individual client needs, resulting in faster and more efficient implementations.

In 2008, we will continue to rely on our Board of Advisors to help us forge our strategic product direction and stay abreast of issues facing the industry. We are actively involved with industry organizations such as PDA, ISPE, PMF and ASTM to increase our awareness of the emerging industry best practices and regulatory requirements that our solutions must support.

Reducing the risk associated with implementing our products is a top priority for MODA. We believe that building and maintaining strong relationships with software and hardware vendors, instrumentation manufacturers and professional service providers enhances our ability to deliver our solutions to our clients. To that end, we have established strategic relationships with industry leading companies including Becton Dickinson Diagnostics, Applied Biosystems, Hach Ultra, and Patni Life Sciences and are committed to enhancing these and other alliances in the future.

We at MODA pride ourselves in our pursuit of excellence in all tasks, and are as individuals and as an organization, pledged to making our clients’ choice of MODA’s products a successful one. Our daily operations are governed by our Corporate Tenets, which I urge you to read.
