David S. Lipson
Chairman
Mr. Lipson is a senior executive with thirty eight years of experience in the Information Technology Industry in both the public and private sectors. He was Founder, CEO and Chairman of Integrated Systems Consulting Group (NASDAQ:ISCG) from 1988 to 1998 and was Vice Chairman of First Consulting Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:FCGI) from 1999 to 2004.
Robert Adams
Mr. Adams, Managing Partner at NextStage Capital, L.P., is a venture executive with seventeen years of investment, operational, and financial experience. His work with emerging companies includes business strategy development and implementation, financial analysis and modeling, management development, and business positioning. Mr. Adams’ background prior to co-founding NextStage Capital includes executive positions in the venture capital, media and entertainment, and accounting industries with Safeguard Scientifics (NYSE: SFE), Rascoff/Zysblat Organization, and Ernst & Young.
Robert S. Adelson
President and founder of Osage Investments. Mr. Adelson serves on a number of Boards and is active in a variety of charitable and educational organizations. Prior to founding Osage,he clerked with the honorable Walter K. Stapleton, U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and practiced corporate law at the Philadelphia law firm of Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen. His previous venture investments include Zany Brainy,Inphonic (NASDAQ: INPC), Internet Capital Group (NASDAQ: ICGE), and GHR Systems (acquired by Metavante). Mr. Adelson is a trustee of Jefferson University Hospital, where he currently serves as Chairman of the Board, Jefferson University, and Jefferson Health System. He is also President of the Board of Trustees of The Philadelphia School and is a member of The Yale Law School Fund.
Michael W. Desiderio
Mr. Desiderio, MODA CEO, is an executive with over 20 years of experience providing IT products and services to the life sciences marketplace. His areas of expertise include sales, operational improvement and executive management. Prior to joining MODA, he served as COO and Vice President of Sales for Chariot Solutions, Merck Client Partner for CapGemini, Vice President of Sales for Glemser Technologies, Vice President of Sales for First Consulting Group's Life Sciences Division, and in a number of sales, delivery management, consulting, and software development roles for Integrated Systems Consulting Group and Shared Medical Systems (Siemens).
Mark E. Kolb
Executive VP at Patni Life Sciences (NYSE: PTI). Previously Mr. Kolb was the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Taratec, a consultancy focused on the automation and regulatory compliance needs of the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Kolb’s background also includes positions at Merck & Company and Digital Equipment Corporation where he focused on process automation. He serves on the Board of Directors of Dynamic Clinical Systems, the Somerset Medical Center and the New Jersey Technology Council. He serves on Montclair State University’s College of Science and Mathematics Advisory Council. Mr. Kolb is a past winner of the Ernst & Young New Jersey Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Notre Dame Club of Central New Jersey’s Man of the Year.
Steven P. Melick
Mr. Melick, President of MODA Technology Partners, is an experienced business leader and entrepreneur with over fifteen years of professional experience. Previously, Mr. Melick was founder, President and CEO of The Sycamore Group. Prior to Sycamore, Mr. Melick worked for Liberty Mutual, Fannie Mae, Cigna, and was an independent consultant in the information technology marketplace. Mr. Melick serves on the Ben Franklin Technology Partners’ Technology Advisory Committee, holds committee positions for the Society for Information Systems, and is an advisor to the Dean of the School of Information Systems at Drexel University.
Richard J. Riegel
Twenty years of management experience in executive, sales and practice leadership positions with technology and professional services firms, including senior appointments at IBM, First Consulting Group (NASDAQ: FCGI) and Taratec Development Corporation. Mr. Riegel is currently General Manager of Liquent, a Thomson Scientific company. Mr. Riegel has successfully managed consulting practices with revenues of $25 million and 100 associates and business units with $80 million in revenue and more than 500 employees.
